2025 Runway
Sofitel Phnom Penh
In 2025, TATZU participated in a fashion show held at Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Around 15 models and over 1,000 guests gathered to witness the unveiling of the Neo Samurai Style, born from vintage kimonos.
Rather than reproducing tradition, we reconstruct it for contemporary street fashion.
That is TATZU's runway.

Behind the Runway
There are many steps involved in completing a single garment.
Choosing a kimono, taking it apart, washing it, creating new patterns, cutting, sewing, and finally finishing it to suit the model's movements.
This accumulation leads to a runway show lasting just a few minutes.

What I aim for is not to preserve kimonos.
It is to inherit the beauty of kimonos and transform them into clothing for a new era.

2024 Runway
The Beginning of Neo Samurai Style
In 2024, TATZU unveiled a collection that reconstructs vintage kimonos.
This show was the first runway that led to the current Neo Samurai Style.
From one kimono to a modern silhouette.
