PARTNERSHIP
Build the Next Chapter Together.
TATZU aims to reconstruct Japanese vintage kimono into modern fashion and bring our unique style, "NEO SAMURAI," to the world.
To realize that future, TATZU is not looking for simple service providers or people who will only promote the brand temporarily.
We seek relationships where we can nurture new value and business in the long term, leveraging our respective markets, customers, technologies, experiences, networks, and business foundations.
Create the next chapter of TATZU together.
We want to expand these possibilities with shops, brands, companies, and individuals across the globe who can help us create new markets together.
FROM A SMALL ATELIER
Built from the Ground Up.
For over a decade, based in Phnom Penh, I have built an atelier and production system as a designer and pattern maker, along with the resources to continuously source vintage kimono from Japan.
I studied garment structure and textiles in Kyoto. Since becoming independent, I have been involved in weaving and natural dyeing in India, and have visited craftsmen throughout Europe, engaging with their techniques and aesthetic sense.
After gaining experience across different cultures and values, I now stand on the production floor in Phnom Penh every day, communicating directly with local production staff and international clients to oversee everything from design and pattern making to production and quality control.
TATZU’s work goes beyond just design.
I spend time with the production staff, share the desired quality and techniques, and remain involved until the finished garment reaches the customer.
I never compromise on quality. Yet, in an environment with different cultures and languages, I do not force my own values unilaterally.
By understanding our differences, we figure out how to realize our shared vision.
The trust and production foundation built over time in this way support the TATZU of today.
WHERE WE ARE GOING
NEO SAMURAI to the World.
Our goal is to bring TATZU’s unique fashion, "NEO SAMURAI," to the world.
We aim to promote the beauty and potential of Japanese kimono as a material within modern fashion, carving out a new market in this largely untapped territory.
We plan to increase the number of shops carrying TATZU worldwide, hold runways in various cities, and deliver NEO SAMURAI to more people.
Ultimately, we want the world to think of TATZU when they hear the word "Kimono."
We aim to become a presence of that magnitude.
However, growing the brand is not our sole purpose.
As our business grows, more kimono are revitalized, new jobs and employment are created from manufacturing to sales, and cultivated techniques can be passed on to the next generation.
By creating value as fashion and sustaining it as a business, we connect culture to the future.
That is the reason TATZU aims for the world.
BUILT TO MOVE FORWARD
The Foundation Is Already Here.
The foundation for moving toward that future is already in place.
We have design and pattern-making expertise, a production system in our Phnom Penh atelier, and a rich stock of vintage kimono.
From one-of-a-kind collections to bespoke orders, wholesale, OEM/ODM, and the supply of vintage kimono, TATZU is already beginning to connect with the world in various ways, building on what we have established.
Customers from various countries visit our atelier in Phnom Penh, and we have already begun cross-border business, from product development with Japanese companies to distribution in the Mexican market.
We are not starting from zero; we are taking what we have built to the next level.
This is where our specific conversation about PARTNERSHIP begins.
WAYS TO PARTNER
Different Paths. One Shared Direction.
There is no single fixed form for a relationship with TATZU.
Currently, we particularly value wholesale trading with shops and distributors who can continuously bring TATZU products to market, as well as ongoing OEM/ODM partnerships with companies and brands.
Furthermore, we are open to supplying materials to businesses in need of Japanese vintage kimono and to proposals that lead to new markets or businesses that fall outside existing frameworks.
FOR SHOPS & RETAILERS
Bring TATZU to Your Market.
Increasing the number of shops worldwide that carry TATZU is one of our central initiatives to bring NEO SAMURAI to the world.
We are engaged in ongoing wholesale partnerships with select shops, boutiques, concept stores, and other retail businesses that see potential in the TATZU worldview and products.
TATZU products, born from vintage kimono that are each unique, possess a personality and background distinct from typical mass-produced items.
We do not aim to simply drop off products and end the relationship.
We look for relationships where we can sell TATZU continuously in your market, share feedback from local customers, and grow products and strategies that are suited to that specific market.
Bring TATZU to your market.
FOR BRANDS & COMPANIES
From Concept to Product.
Turning the ideas of companies and brands into actual products.
TATZU offers apparel OEM/ODM services, from design and pattern-making to sample creation and production.
Leveraging our designer/pattern maker's expertise and the production system built in Phnom Penh, we handle not only production based on finished specifications but also product development starting from the idea or imagery phase.
We aim for relationships with companies and brands that do not stop after one production run, but rather aim to deliver to the market and connect that feedback to the next product, continuously growing both product development and business.
Turn creation into your next business.
FOR KIMONO BUYERS & CREATORS
Japanese Textiles for New Creation.
TATZU provides Japanese vintage kimono, haori, and obi as materials to fashion brands, designers, shops, and creators.
Using kimono continuously collected from Japan's reuse network and our abundant stock, we provide support ranging from material proposals tailored to specific uses or creative projects to ongoing supply.
Color, pattern, weave, embroidery.
Every single piece of material, handed down over many years, holds the potential to create new value.
From kimono that have finished their role in Japan to new creations for the world.

BEYOND THE EXISTING FRAMEWORK
New Markets. New Possibilities.
TATZU’s next possibilities are not limited to wholesale, OEM/ODM, or vintage kimono supply.
We are open to concrete proposals that can generate new markets or businesses—whether it be expansion into new countries or regions, distribution and sales networks, joint ventures, or strategic business alliances—leveraging the brand, design, production system, and material resources that TATZU has built.
Additionally, if you share our vision and direction, we are interested in discussing strategic proposals, including investment, that could accelerate our business growth and overseas expansion.
We are not looking for a "partner" in name only.
We seek relationships where we can leverage our respective strengths to create actual value and business together.
Even if it is in a form TATZU has not yet imagined, if there is a concrete possibility, we welcome your new proposal.
WHAT WE VALUE
Long-Term Relationships Over Short-Term Opportunities.
TATZU values more than just short-term results.
We value people with different countries, cultures, markets, and expertise bringing their respective strengths, respecting each other’s roles, and growing a business over time.
We value relationships where not just one party provides value, but where the relationship is meaningful for both.
And finally, we value not ending at just an idea, but connecting it to actual products, markets, customers, and sales to make it a sustainable business.
Making something good is not enough to reach the world.
The power to create and the power to deliver.
We believe that by connecting both, TATZU’s next market will be born.
