TATZU provides OEM and ODM apparel production for fashion brands, retailers, companies, and creators.
From OEM production based on completed designs and Tech Packs to ODM development beginning with an idea, design, and pattern making, we support the process from concept to finished product.
Production is directed by TATZU, a Japanese fashion designer and pattern maker based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Working directly with our local production partners, we coordinate design, pattern making, sampling, production, finishing, and quality control.
Our role is not simply to manufacture garments.
We understand what you want to create and translate that idea into a product that can actually be made.

2. A Production Network Built by TATZU
TATZU did not begin as a large manufacturing company.
It began with one designer making patterns for his own garments, searching for skilled makers, sourcing materials, and working directly with the people who make the clothes.
Through years of sampling, technical development, problem-solving, and collaboration, TATZU has built long-term relationships with production partners in Phnom Penh.
Today, designs and patterns are developed at the TATZU atelier and produced in close collaboration with our partner workshop, allowing us to support projects from sampling through production.
We do not simply hand over a design and walk away.
We check the patterns.
We review the samples.
We examine construction and specifications.
We make adjustments when necessary.
And we inspect the finished garments.
Having a Japanese designer and pattern maker based locally allows us to connect design and production directly.
3. OEM and ODM
OEM | Production from Your Specifications
If you already have designs, specifications, Tech Packs, patterns, or reference samples, we can work from your existing development and support sampling and production.
This is suitable for brands that have already developed their products or are looking for a production partner.
Client-supplied fabrics, trims, and other materials can also be discussed.
ODM | Developing the Product Together
You may have an idea for a garment without a finished pattern or complete specification.
That is also a place where we can begin.
As both designer and pattern maker, TATZU can help develop the silhouette, construction, pattern, and specifications required to turn the concept into a producible garment.

4. Small-Batch Production
TATZU welcomes discussions about small-batch OEM and ODM production rather than working exclusively with large-volume manufacturing.
New brand launches.
Product testing.
Limited collections.
Retailer exclusives.
Garments for special projects and events.
Instead of committing to large quantities from the beginning, brands can start with appropriate volumes, evaluate the response, and develop future production from there.
Our goal is to build products — and partnerships — that can grow over time.

5. Production Backed by Design and Pattern Making
A garment cannot be created from a design sketch alone.
Silhouette, measurements, patterns, construction, fabrics, trims, and sewing specifications all need to work together.
At TATZU, the designer is also a pattern maker.
This allows us to understand not only how a garment should look, but how it needs to be constructed and translated into production.
Our experience working with kimono and other patterned textiles has also developed our expertise in motif placement and pattern matching.
Design and production are not separated.
That close connection is one of the strengths of TATZU OEM and ODM.
6. What We Can Produce
We welcome inquiries for a wide range of garments, including jackets, hoodies, shirts, vests, trousers, skirts, dresses, and other apparel.
Production is not limited to garments made from kimono or vintage textiles.
We can also discuss projects using client-specified fabrics and conventional apparel materials.
Feasibility is reviewed according to the design, construction, materials, quantities, and production requirements of each project.
7. Materials
Depending on the project, clients may supply fabrics and trims, or materials can be discussed as part of the development process.
TATZU also maintains an ongoing sourcing network in Japan for vintage kimono, haori, and obi.
For brands interested in original products, limited collections, or retailer-exclusive pieces using Japanese vintage textiles, we can discuss OEM and ODM development utilizing this sourcing network.
Because every vintage textile is different, every project can carry its own identity.
8. Our OEM / ODM Process
01 | Inquiry & Consultation
Tell us what you would like to create.
Share whatever information is currently available: garment type, design, quantities, size range, materials, desired delivery schedule, reference images, Tech Packs, or existing samples.
02 | Specifications & Production Planning
We review the design, construction, materials, quantities, and production requirements.
Where necessary, TATZU can suggest practical solutions for specifications and production methods.
03 | Pattern Making & Sampling
Once the direction is confirmed, patterns are developed when required and the first sample is produced.
If Tech Packs or existing patterns are supplied, we review them before moving into sampling.
04 | Sample Review & Revision
The sample is reviewed for silhouette, measurements, construction, sewing, and other specifications.
Necessary adjustments are made before production begins.
05 | Production
Once the sample and final specifications are approved, production proceeds through cutting, sewing, and finishing.
The atelier remains in communication with the production team throughout the process.
06 | Quality Control & Completion
Finished garments are inspected before completion.
Brand labels, care labels, packaging, and other agreed details are completed according to the final specifications.
The finished products are then prepared for delivery.
