Vintage Kimono, Available for Those Who Need It.

TATZU is a fashion brand that deconstructs Japanese vintage kimono and reconstructs them into contemporary streetwear.

For our creative work, we have collected more than 1,000 vintage kimono, obi, and accessories from across Japan. A selection from this collection is available for rental.

Kimono rental is not TATZU’s main service. However, we offer it for those who would like to experience Japanese culture or wear kimono for events, photo shoots, parties, and other special occasions.

We have a wide selection of vintage kimono for both women and men. Please visit our atelier, view the collection, and choose your favorite piece.

Full Kimono Set — 1 Day

35 USD

Full Yukata Set — 1 Day

25 USD

※Same price for women and men.


Rental Period

The standard rental period is one night and two days.

・Pick up the day before → Return on the event day

・Pick up on the event day → Return the following day

You can choose the schedule that best suits your event.

All items are cleaned after each rental. Please return them by the agreed deadline.

For late returns, an additional fee of 50% of the rental price per day will be charged.

Rental Process

1. Make a Booking

Please make a booking through our contact page.

2. Visit the Atelier

Visit the TATZU atelier to view the kimono collection and choose your favorite piece.

New vintage kimono arrive every month, and we always have more than 1,000 pieces available.

※Because our collection is very large, we do not send photos of the available kimono in advance.

3. Payment

The full rental fee must be paid in advance.

The rental items will be handed over after payment has been confirmed.

4. Return

Please return all rental items to the atelier at the end of the rental period.

Kimono Dressing

Kimono dressing consultations are also available upon request.

For formal kimono, we can introduce you to one of our professional kimono dressing partners.
