This one-of-a-kind piece was created as a custom commission.
Reconstructed from a vintage Japanese kimono in deep crimson, woven with subtle stripes and geometric motifs. Designed to move naturally between everyday formal and casual styling, the vest features a sharp V-neckline and an eight-button double-breasted front.
The tailored silhouette is finished with welt pockets and an adjustable buckle belt at the back. The rich woven texture of the original kimono is preserved while classic tailoring is reinterpreted through a contemporary mode aesthetic.
A matching tie made from the same kimono completes the look for a refined, coordinated style.
