TATZU welcomes kimono consignment sales and event collaborations.

Our vintage Japanese kimonos can be introduced and sold at various occasions such as university events, cultural festivals, pop-up shops, and exhibitions.

Why TATZU

At the TATZU atelier, we regularly source authentic vintage kimonos from Japan, with new arrivals coming in every month.

Our collection includes more than 1,000 kimono items, including:

  • Kimono

  • Yukata

  • Haori

  • Obi belts

  • Zori sandals

  • Bags and accessories

We offer a wide range of designs, from elegant and vibrant patterns to refined and classic styles.

It is rare to find a place where such a large selection of kimonos can be viewed and chosen in one space—even in Japan.
Our atelier provides a unique opportunity to experience Japanese kimono culture while in Phnom Penh.

Because of this, we often receive inquiries from individuals and organizations who wish to sell TATZU kimonos at events or special occasions, and we are happy to accept such consignment requests.

All of our kimonos are authentic vintage pieces sourced from Japan, and we invite you to experience their unique charm.

Consignment Terms

Commission

Approximately 20–25% of total sales

Terms may vary depending on the scale and nature of the event.

Pricing

Either of the following options is available:

  • Use TATZU’s regular retail prices

  • Set event-specific pricing

Payment

After the event, please share:

  • Number of items sold

  • Total sales amount

The remaining balance after deducting the commission should be transferred to TATZU’s ABA Bank account.

Deposit

A USD 100 security deposit is required at the start of the consignment agreement.

Final settlement conditions will be discussed and confirmed in advance.

Product Selection

The following items can be prepared for event sales:

  • Kimono

  • Yukata

  • Haori

  • Obi belts

  • Zori sandals

  • Bags

  • Various accessories

We can prepare items according to the scale and needs of your event.

Products are selected directly at the TATZU atelier.

Because of the large variety of colors and patterns, individual photos cannot be provided in advance.

Product Handling

During the event, product management is the responsibility of the organizer or seller.

Any unsold items should be returned to the TATZU atelier after the event.

Promotion

If photos or event scenes are shared with us, TATZU may feature them on our social media platforms.

We may also request that TATZU shop cards be displayed at the sales booth.

TATZU is a vintage kimono brand and atelier based in Phnom Penh.

In addition to offering authentic vintage kimonos sourced from Japan, TATZU also develops the creative concept known as “Remade Kimono.”

This project reconstructs traditional kimonos into modern street fashion pieces.
