Order Flow

• Select your pattern and upload the screenshot as above

• Place your order → Payment

• After payment, we will confirm your preferred size via email

• Artisans craft each piece individually (approx. 3–4 weeks)

• Once completed, shipping from the TATZU workshop in Phnom Penh via EMS (other couriers available)

• Delivery to your address usually takes about 1 week

• Progress updates will be provided by email

• Lining: TATZU Original Lightweight Cotton (for breathable comfort)

The Making Process

A TATZU jacket is created through a process that sets it apart from mass-produced clothing.

• Carefully sourced vintage Kurotomesode from Japan

• Detailed inspection of fabric condition

• Deconstruction of the kimono back into roll fabric

• Washing to prevent post-production shrinkage

• Ironing to restore its refined texture

• Custom pattern drafting for each order

• On the kimono’s uniquely narrow fabric width of about 40cm, each pattern piece is carefully positioned with balance in mind and cut with precision.

• Combination of machine and hand stitching, sewn together with TATZU’s lightweight cotton lining

• Finishing and strict inspection

• Careful packaging and worldwide shipping

Through this process, the Kurotomesode is reborn as a one-of-a-kind jacket.

• Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight and humidity
